Tampa, Fl. (August 4, 2025) – Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is gearing up for another exciting school year. On Monday, August 11, more than 220,000 students will fill the hallways at schools across our district.
Superintendent Van Ayres, School Board Members, district and school staff will share the exciting new initiatives and district goals for the 2025-26 school year at our “Back to School” Press Conference on Wednesday, August 6, at 10:30 a.m. The event will be held at our brand new Aquilla J. Morgan High School, located at 1712 West Lake Dr., Wimauma, FL.
