Several Students Earn Top Honors at FBLA and HOSA Competitions
Tampa, Fl. (August 1, 2025) – Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is celebrating a major achievement this summer, as one of its students at Williams IB Middle Magnet School was named a National Champion and several others earned top placements at the Futu
With nearly 11,000 students representing 48 states and territories and over 2,000 middle schools, the competition brought together the best and brightest young business minds in the country.
Among the highlights, Vihaan Patel earned 1st place in the nation in Exploring Computer Science, bringing home the title of National Champion for Williams IB and Hillsborough County Public Schools. (Photo Attached - credit FBLA)
Other national award winners from Williams IB include:
6th Place – Interpersonal Communication: Aashni Patel
4th Place – Career Exploration: Shrika Barri and Yana Brahmankar
3rd Place – Learning Strategies: Aarav Singh
2nd Place – Critical Thinking: Anushka Srivastava
In addition, the following students received Honorable Mention recognition for their strong performances: Harish Arunkumar, Aria Avadham, Tanishka Chinthamaneni, Gowtham Kambala, Avyutha Mandavva, Akansha Rudra, and Tanisha Sebastian.
Williams IB students also delivered a standout performance at the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) International Leadership Conference in Nashville, where students competed against more than 12,000 peers and achieved top 10 national honors.

8th place - Healthy Living: Anushka Srivastava
